1. About this notice

Adventura Travels operates this website and handles the information that visitors submit through it. This notice covers the public pages, travel inquiry form, website analytics and interactive package maps.

We aim to handle personal information for clear, legitimate purposes and in a way that is proportionate to those purposes. This notice does not describe information that may be collected later during booking or trip operations outside the public website.

2. Information we collect

Travel inquiries. The public inquiry form asks for your full name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, preferred destination, travel dates, number of guests and a message about the journey you are considering. Travel dates are optional; the other inquiry fields are marked as required.

Technical and usage information. When you browse the site, analytics and hosting services may receive information such as your browser and device type, language, approximate location derived from an internet address, referring page, pages viewed, screen size, session identifiers and the date and time of a visit.

Form security information. The inquiry form uses a visual challenge to help distinguish genuine submissions from automated ones. The challenge response and its validation value are processed when you submit the form.

The current public website has no customer account, checkout or payment-card form and does not ask for passport, medical, dietary or emergency-contact information. Please do not place sensitive information in the free-text message unless it is necessary for your inquiry.

3. How we collect information

• Directly from you when you complete and submit the travel inquiry form or contact us through a link on the site.
• Automatically when your browser requests pages, scripts, images, analytics resources or map resources.
• From the Sitejet and Sitehub services that supply the website's content-management and form configuration.

4. How we use information

We use inquiry information to read and respond to your request, discuss the journey you are considering and manage related correspondence. Technical information is used to deliver the site, protect forms, diagnose problems, understand how the public site is used and improve its content and performance.

Information should be used only for the purpose explained when it is collected, or for a compatible purpose permitted by applicable law.

5. When information is shared

Travel inquiry details are sent to the Adventura Travels inquiry mailbox and to a configured service integration used for inquiry handling. Staff and service providers who need the information to operate the website or respond to the inquiry may have access to it.

The public site also relies on hosting and email services, Sitejet and Sitehub for website and form functions, Google Analytics for audience measurement, and OpenFreeMap for package maps. A provider may process technical information when your browser connects to its service.

Information may also be disclosed if required by law, a valid legal process or an appropriate government authority, or when reasonably necessary to protect the website, visitors or Adventura Travels.

6. Analytics, cookies and maps

The site uses Google Analytics 4, currently identified by measurement ID G-XHTZ9MM9LM. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar browser identifiers to measure page visits and interactions. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

You can also disable Google Analytics for future visits from this browser to this website. This choice sets a first-party opt-out cookie on your device.

Package pages use an interactive map. When a map is displayed, your browser requests style and map resources from OpenFreeMap. Those requests may include ordinary technical information such as your internet address, browser and device details. Map data is attributed to OpenStreetMap contributors as shown on the map.

7. How long information is kept

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably needed to respond to an inquiry, maintain appropriate business records, resolve issues and meet legal obligations. Different records may need different retention periods. When information is no longer needed, it should be deleted or made anonymous in a secure manner.

8. How we protect information

Adventura Travels and its service providers use reasonable administrative, technical and physical measures intended to protect personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, alteration or disclosure. The inquiry form includes field validation and an anti-automation challenge. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Your privacy rights

Subject to the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 and other applicable rules, you may have rights to be informed, access your personal information, correct inaccurate information, object to certain processing, request erasure or blocking, obtain data portability where applicable, and raise a concern with the National Privacy Commission.

10. External and overseas services

Some website providers operate systems in more than one country. As a result, technical or inquiry information may be processed outside the Philippines. Appropriate contractual and organizational measures may be required under applicable law for providers that process personal information on Adventura Travels' behalf.

11. Children's information

The public website is intended for adults making travel inquiries. If you include information about a child as part of a family or group inquiry, provide only what is necessary and make sure you are authorized to provide it. Do not send identity documents or sensitive details through the public form.
